Maybe there is hope for the near east after all.
I read today that a Lioness that had been stolen two years ago from a Zoo in Gaza had now been returned-by the Hamas.
According to their rapport Sabrina had been freed from a band of drug dealers during a Hamas raid. She was half starved and lacking teeth, claws and half her tail.
At the same time a thirty man strong elite unit of Israeli Parachutists were busy freeing two Stone Eagles who were being held captive in a house inHebron, West Jordan. The almost extinct species were taken by two helicopters to a Zoo in Jerusalem.
It’s wonderful that animals have such a high priority in that part of the world.
It would be even more wonderful if people had the same.
But at least there is a common denominator so maybe they can start from there.
